Hey readers, I have two emails in my inbox that may be of interest
Get your Traction Alopeica fixed
Maverick TV (the makers of Embarrassing Bodies (Channel 4), How To Look Good Naked (Channel 4), and My Naked Secret (Discovery)) are looking for people who have had a catastrophic experience with all types of beauty treatments for ‘Extreme Beauty Disasters’. Everything from major plastic surgery and non-surgical cosmetic treatments to hair removal, allergic reactions to hair dye or a bad haircut or colour to disastrous self-inflicted home treatments.
‘Extreme Beauty Disasters’ (Discovery International) is now in its third series and we are looking for people to take part. On the show we open the doors to offer salvation to victims of botched beauty treatments. A world-renowned plastic surgeon – Dr. Vik Vijh, award winning hairdresser Skyler McDonald and skin doctor to the stars, Dr. Sam Bunting help us fix cosmetic catastrophes and hope to put right those disasters so people can ultimately find happiness.
The reason for my email today is that we are currently casting for the new series and are extremely interested in helping those who have suffered from Traction Alopecia, or from the application of extensions, relaxing or any other hair treatment that has left the hair in a bad way.
I wondered if you would be able to feature our flyer so we can reach out to those who need help with their hair, and they don’t know where to turn.
I know its a TV show and not many of you want to air out your business nationwide, however some people don’t mind. Also some people are scared to wear their hair out of weaves because they have the edges so damaged..this might be a solution…good luck!
Is your body amazing?
I look after a feature at Cosmopolitan called My Body’s Amazing. I’d love to feature someone who celebrates their beautiful natural hair.
The feature does involve a tasteful nude shoot and an interview – but it’s all about having body confidence and loving your body the way it is, which extends to hair. All we ask is that the person is aged 20-35ish (that’s our readership’s age) and has a great, positive story to tell!
To take part you need to Contact Kate on +44 (0)207 312 4142 Its a brave thing!! let me know if you go for it!
