The Beautiful Textures UK Event

I have Beautiful Textures

Last night I had a good time at the Beautiful Textures UK Mixer event which was held in Bar Soho in London. The event was organised by Gidore and Felicia Leatherwood also joined. She was a wonderful as ever and she showed us how to use the products.  It was good that she came back to the UK to see us.

Beautiful Textures is a new brand from Strength of Nature, the same company that produces, African Pride, and ElastaQP. They are exhibiting at the Afro Hair and Beauty Show and brought all us bloggers, magazines, and YouTubers together to tell us about the product.
The name ‘Beautiful Textures’ is derived from the fact that so many people have one or two hair types on their own head.  We all have different textures which are of course beautiful.

One thing I like about the product already is its price. The company have made a conscious effort to keep the products affordable so they have things starting from £5. This doesn’t mean they have skimped on ingredients. So I look forward to trying them out.

I saw loads of people there that I recognised and I had a really nice time. I left with a goodie bag containing full sized products of the  ‘Tangle Taming Leave-in Conditioner’ which smells almost edible and the ‘Curl Control Defining pudding’.  I will let you know when I finally get around to trying them out.

You can buy the range here in the UK from

It was a packed evening

I bumped into Ketisha (aka Sugar Kinesis)
I also saw the stunning Belinda Raji (Be Unique Hair Care)

I saw many other people but I was too busy talking to get photographs with everyone. Next time huh? I had fun and will probably see a few of you at the Afro Hair and Beauty Show this weekend.

There are so many events happening over the next few weeks please don’t forget to check my ‘Whats on‘ page for an event listing
